Spunky Spelling!
1/2 GP have been very busy learning how to spell the most common words in the English language.
We have also been making our spelling more personalised by including words that we have misspelled in our own writing. We always reread and edit our work either by ourselves, with a partner, or in a conference with Miss Palankay. That way we are able to check for unknown words and have a go at writing them correctly.
We are pretty clever in 1/2GP because we know that we can either chunk up a word, sound out a word, or even look it up in the dictionary to find the correct spelling!
Self editing and reflecting makes us very confident and independent learners!

Today in Writers Workshop I was in the spelling group. I did a look, say, cover, write, check with my spelling words and I can now spell wrapped, walking and turned!
